I had a tooth drilled and filled today. So, uh, pain. And stuff.
I'm still TV-less. So now I play games on the Compy. But I like the Lappy more for some reason.
Yesterday my friend wore gothic pants to school just for laughs. All the other students hid their faces as he approached. Hah hah hah. Today he wore his normal clothes and everybody else was confused. Hah hah hah again.
I was playing Diablo II, owned all of the creatures in Tal Rasha's tomb, and then realized that I had entered the wrong tomb. I exited, entered the correct tomb, and was promptly owned. I didn't kill the summoner in the warphole, rather, ran past him, stole the book, and fled through the portal to the temple grounds.
The rest of this entry is a guide to beat Emperor Ing and Dark Samus Final in MP2.
Okay, so you enter the room and jump down to the floor. A quick scene shows Emp Ing absorb the energon. Use missiles on the tentacles to make them retract. Use the annihilator beam on the crack in his shell to deal damage. While he's vulnerable, jump over the beam he shoots or you'll take phazon damage and lose your gun for a while. More tentacles will appear until you have to use aboot 20 missiles per defense mode, then he'll turn into a shell and the floor will be poisoned.
Use the spider ball to get up onto the shell. Destroy some of the tentacles by placing a bomb when dark energy appears. Try to stay above the gas, and leave one or two tentacles undamaged. Sometimes the gas will rise, so get higher on the shell. There are a bunch of respawning inglets here, so bomb them when they approach to recharge. Keep healing and reloading until the entire room is poisoned or you're full, at which point destroy the last tentacle or two to shell shock this form.
He's now a giant warrior ing. Use a supah missile00rrXXzzz when the red orb (energy core, mayhaps? Or his eye?) is vulnerable (sometimes his legs get in the way, or his mouth is closed. Wait until he opens up nice and wide and knock some teeth out. This will turn his eye-thing white or black. The scan tells you to use the gun of opposite polarity, but annihilator beam works MUCH better. When he summons nightbarbs, power beam 'em to kill 'em then charge beam to get ammo. Soon enough, he will be deaded. The first form is, IMO, the hardest boss in the game. Samus isn't that bad, the 2nd form doesn't do much, it just lets you recharge, and the third form is actually fun.
Well, Samus will absorb the energon, and th floor will rise, allowing you to screw jump out of the room. You have 7 or 8 minutes from the end of Emp Ing's death. Screw jump out of the room, like I just said you could, then jump down through the next room and enter the light beam. You can't save, but if you get ganked by DS, you can resume from last save to go back to the Emp Ing room right after he died.
This last part has spoilers. Stop reading right after the DS strategy to avoid them.
A short cinema will show that Samus is stuck. The phazon wall will unleash Super Dark Samus. You now have to fight her. (Wow, who saw THAT coming?) Samus 3 isn't too hard.. scratch that, not hard at all. Just use echo visor instead of dark visor and she will soon become DS 4. The only way to do real damage will be revealed soon, but first this: when she lowers her shield, charge a shot, then fire it at her when she runs to you to deal minor damage. Don't use missiles. Ever. Now, on to major damage!
Every now and then, while shielded, Samus will shoot phazon at you. Keep a shot charged and ready, then absorb ne of the shots and fire at Samus. This will deal considerable damage. Soon she will be dead. Begin spoilers now.
All you MP1 players should know by now that DS is Metroid Prime. MP absorbs the Phazon Suit when you beat her. But, now it is much more obvious as DS/MP is now more metroidy and transparent. She reaches out to you (trying to take the light suit this time, eh?) and falls. She's not dead yet, but will be soon.
The Ing are SUPER PISSED now. Warrior Ing mass on the walls. EXTREMELY fortunately, there's a portal behind the now-dissipated phazon wall. Samus runs and scans, then jumps in, and, full ninja-style, morph balls for extra lenghth and less air resistance, and warps though.
The Ing are seen trying to get through the portal, but it closes eternally, as Dark Aether is gone. With all of the Ing and Dark Samus/Metroid Prime.
Samus gives back the light suit and the last of the energy, and all of the Luminoth thank you. They fixed your ship, too. How nice! As Samus boards her ship, she un-power suits. She looked way better in MP1.
